"The churches of Christ greet you" - Romans 16:16 NKJV.

Jesus invites you, saying, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light" (Matthew 11:28-30).

We are here as the body of Christ, His church (Ephesians 1:22-23) to personally extend that invitation to you. Please join us whenever you have the opportunity!

are you seeking God?

God gives us this amazing promise, "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart"(Jeremiah 29:13)!
Yes, you can find the Almighty God, the Creator of all that is perfect, pure and peaceful. Where do you start?

The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple;
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever;
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold,
Yea, than much fine gold;
Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover by them Your servant is warned,
And in keeping them there is great reward. (Psalm 19:7-11)

Go to God's own instruction manual, the Bible. That can be a little daunting at first, but we're here to help. We invite you to attend our Bible classes and worship services, and/or you can begin with personal studies. We can provide lessons through the mail or in person. It's up to you. Contact us at 336-969-5498 or by email at southstokescoc@gmail.com.

The bottom line is that God sent His Son, Jesus, to give you the opportunity to save your soul from sin, and to spend eternity with Him. We gain access to that information in the Bible, where we find out about the Gospel, the good news of Christ, the power of God to save us (Romans 1:16). Don't miss out - start today! We'd love to hear from you.
